the smallest mountain range in the world..

to warn you.. this is going to be such a random post.. but interesting nonetheless

so, some of you may know that my husband is like a walking gps system. he is constantly aware of which direction he is facing and how to get home. he loves to go explore new places... so we have been on overdrive since moving to california. a few weeks ago, we embarked on our latest adventure.

you can see these from our house..

we have always wondered what this funny looking range is.. it's not the coastal range (towards san francisco) or the sierras (towards lake tahoe).. so what is it?

well it's the sutter buttes, of course. the smallest mountain range in the world. well, once rob heard that, we were in the car on the way to find them :-) we coordinated the little road trip with nap time and drove about an hour to find them.

(as a side note: all of my northern cali friends.. i know you are laughing.. feel free to make fun of us next time we see you)

here are some pictures from our little saturday adventure a few weeks ago

so there you have it. the smallest mountain range in the world. google it.

rob asked twice if i had blogged about the sutter buttes yet.. he is coming around :-)

to redeem myself for such a boring post, i leave you with this.. and a promise of more swim lesson pictures to come :-) cutestthingihaveeverseen.
