10 months..

oh sweet buddy.. you are 10 months old! i can hardly believe it! this has been such a great age.. we are enjoying every minute with you! let's see what you've been up to!

stats..

weight: 20 pounds, height: 28 inches, clothing size: 6-12 months, size 3 diapers

eating..

we are taking some big steps forward eating, little buddy! you are still not a big eater, but you seem to be enjoying it more every day. we are working some with a feeding specialist and have loved all the great ideas they have provided us! you are officially on all formula now and have adjusted to it so well. you take anywhere from 15-20 oz a day along with 3 solid meals. we have started some new foods like cinnamon toast, cheerios, colby jack cheese (your fav!!), sweet potato fries, blueberry muffins, and cheddar crunchies (baby version of cheetoes.. YUM).  

we have also introduced you to jamba juice. you love it, just like us. i think the part you love the most about it is that you get to drink out of a straw. you really love cups with straws and much prefer them to sippy cups.  i found some great ones by munchkin that don't spill. this is definitely how we will introduce whole milk to you in a couple months! 

sleeping..

you are still averaging about 10-11 hours at night with 2 naps a day ranging from 1.5 to 2 hours each. i am still hoping and praying you will start sleeping 12-13 hours a night like your friend, jillian... but i guess we can't complain. 

a funny note about sleeping.. we use a video monitor to keep an eye on our little guy. well, security has definitely been compromised. he figured us out a couple weeks ago :-) i saw his sweet face on the screen and couldn't help but laugh.. ha.

new tricks..

you are doing something new every single day! first off, i finally got you clapping on video. you clap for everything.. from making your toys make sounds to sneezing.. you are super enthusiastic :-) it has to be the cutest thing ever.

you are pulling up on everything! you are so good at it now. you will sometimes go "no hands" and stand for a few seconds. we have a feeling you will be walking very soon.

you are also making all kinds of new sounds and imitating us more and more.  you say "boom", "papapa",  and"baba" now... and you will imitate "yay" and "hiii"

you are starting to wave and we are working on blowing kisses. i can't wait to capture this on camera.. your hearts will melt!

playing..

you are playing as much as ever. you love to play ball still and will roll it back and forth with us. you love mirrors.. ha.. and will go and just stare and laugh at yourself.

you love to actually climb onto and into your toys now. it's hilarious. this particular toy is a race track that actually spins round and round. you put all your toys in it and love to watch them go! one day you even tried to put yourself on there.. the motor gave in :-)

you still are loving the park of course..

teeth..

you now have 2 very obvious teeth with a 3rd one coming in on the bottom and the top gums looking pretty swollen.. if you look closely, you can the 2 bottom ones here!

robert charles, you continue to just be the love of our lives! we love you so much and enjoy every day with you. you smile and laugh so easily. you make friends with everyone you meet and are the biggest flirt. you are so loved, buddy! happy 10 months!
