it's pumpkin patch time :-)
i don't know if you remember from last year.. but robert and i don't do "farm", "ranch" or "country" very well.. however, tis the season, so we decided to give it another shot!
this is the first of two pumpkin patches we went to this year! it is this cute, small, family owned ranch that has been harvesting pumpkins for 100 years.
they had chickens, pigs, horses, and, of course, pumpkins. robert loved the chickens and horses this year. he doesn't quite get the pumpkin concept just yet.. to him, they are just big orange balls that he would try and throw :-)
here are some pictures from our morning..
robert and some sweet baby chicks
robert and the horse named lady.. he would not get on her to ride (i was ok with this!) but he loved her. he wanted to pet her and walk around her stable (umm.. no.. gross.. but he did get to pet her!)
trying to throw some pumpkins
with the largest pumpkin at the patch (i think 5th in the us..)
my sweet boy and i
overall, it was a success! i think robert will love it even more next year!
