we were lucky enough this year to see both sides of our families for christmastime. first, we headed to vancouver! we always have a great time there, but this time was extra special because auntie shalani was in town from paris with her two precious boys.. elliot and oliver. sadly, uncle ivan was stuck in paris working.. boo!

we loved spending the week with them! robert idolized elliot and thought oliver was his. we would catch him either following elliot around or trying to pick oliver up! he sure will love siblings when that time comes!

we had such an awesome time watching robert discover christmas. we all went and picked out a tree and brought it home to decorate. robert loved the lights and ornaments!
unwrapping presents has been interesting. we expected robert to love ripping the paper (as he loves to do this in his day to day life!) but he just wasn't into it! when it came to opening gifts, he usually just wanted to play instead!

we had such a good time with our nephews. oliver is the sweetest baby in the world. i think we heard him cry once.. total. elliot is such a smart, fun boy who loved to wrestle with his uncle rob and play!
