16 months..

sweet robert charles, you are 16 months old!

i swear, all of the sudden, i turned around and you were a little boy. you have grown up so much in the last month! you are truly your own little person!

we have had a very busy month! you have celebrated thanksgiving and been on two big trips.. the first to vancouver and the second to atlanta. you also had your second case of croup and a double ear infection! whew! what a crazy month!

stats: 

24 lbs and growing like a weed.. no official height measurement until 18 months! all i know is your 12-18 month old pants are getting awfully short on you ;-)

you wear mostly 12-18 month clothes, but also some 18- 24 month pants and size 4 diapers

some fun facts about you!

you are the sweetest little boy.. you give lots of kisses and hugs these days. your daddy and i feel like we have won the lottery!

your language is finally starting to take off.. more and more you are imitating our words. you still love your animal noises too! oink oink is your new fav!

you can point to your nose, eyes, ears, mouth and tummy (your fav!)

you love to kick the ball and can do an overhead throw

you sleep about 12-13 hours at night with one 2-3 hour nap during the day

you love to go out and will tell me bye and go wait by the door until i am ready

you are a professional teeth brusher :-) no cavities in this house!

you hate having your diaper changed (or anything that slows you down!)

you are running! and very sure of yourself with walking. it's like you have been doing it your whole life!

you love to dance and sort of do the "twist"

you wear a size 5 to 6 shoe.. i think you were a size 5 for about a week!

you still love jake and the neverland pirates! 

your eating is going so well! we are so proud of you. this month you have tried lots of new foods! you love the cheese sami at quiznos and can't get enough goldfish!

your fav stuffed animal is patch from 101 dalmations. you love on him all the time.

you are always on the"phone"

you follow simple commands like go get your shoes or go get your cheerios.. it's super helpful!

you want to be down all the time! you made your way through the airports like a champ! you have a particular love for riding the escalators!

oh baby boy, there is probably so much more to tell you! your daddy and i love you so so much! you have become a much more "go with the flow" kind of guy (you don't get that from your mommy!). you can sit through long meals at restaurants, long plane rides with no real problem. you don't worry too much if your schedule is thrown off. you are just absolutely amazing. you brighten all of our days and make our hearts swell with pride and love.
