happy halloween..

meet eeyore..

the cutest little guy you've ever seen..

there are some things i never imagined myself doing as a mom.. but this was not one of them. i have always wanted to dress my child up as eeyore for halloween. this was my little dream come true. say what you want about eeyore. he gets a bad reputation for being so sad and gloomy.. but i happen to think he is the sweetest winnie the poo character, and definitely the cutest!

rob and i could not wait for halloween. we were both laughing about how excited we were! we feel like kids again!

here we are, beaming with pride, like he has just graduated from college ;-)

he wasn't quite sure what to think of all this. he was so sweet the entire night, just very pensive and curious. we decided to just do a few houses this year to get him in the swing of it.

here we are at the first house. these neighbors are so sweet to us. they have a puppy that robert just loves.. so much so that when we pass their house he points and says "woof woof" :-)

we let robert try a 3 musketeers and a sucker- he picked both out! he ate about half the candy bar.. loved it. he wasn't as crazy about the sucker. he was more interested in chewing on the stick than eating the candy part! 

a cute robert story.. he had a piece of the candy bar in his hand that he was eating when we got to our neighbor's house (who we have never formally met!).  i guess he decided he was done because he went ahead and put his half eaten chocolate in their candy basket. such a generous guy.

we had such a fun night and can't wait til next year! i think this will become one of our favorite holidays!
