in may, we headed to monterey for a work event for rob. he is partner now in his company and this was a weekend to celebrate him and everyone else who is now partner in the company as well. we had so much fun. we stayed in a hotel right near the pier and ocean. on saturday night, the company rented out the monetery aquarium and we had the place to ourselves! it is always a favorite place of ours.

while daddy was in meetings all day saturday, robert and i headed out to explore. we walked along a walking path and found a really nice beach to get our feet wet.
robert LOVED getting his feet wet at the beach!! that night we headed to the aquarium.. here are a few pictures from that night.
it was so much fun to watch robert take in the aquarium. he has grown up so much in the last six months since we have been.. he loved all the the exhibits, petting the sting rays, watching the divers. we can't wait to bring him again with his little sister :-)
