moments..

lately (okay always) i have been just wanting to freeze time with robert. he is growing so much and changing every single day. it makes me feel so lucky to witness and i just want to pause a take it all in..

here are a few sweet moments..

you don't like bugs. you say "no bugs come inside" or "no bugs come in mommy's car".. but you've made an exception for lady bugs. you love them and always ask me to find you one. it's so sweet and you giggle so much watching them crawling around on my hand.

your language is really starting to take off.. i think so many parents take their kids' words for granted.. but not us. many hours have gone into helping these words come out of your mouth. my all time favorite words as of late are..

bom-baid for band-aid

and pinecone.. said pefectly. it just makes me giggle.

your imagination is starting to take off! you pretend to feed your trains and planes. sometimes, your whole body becomes a plane, sound effects and all, and takes off into the sky.. with your arms becoming the wings. it is precious. i love watching you pretend, sweet boy.

you are using a spoon like a champ.

being your parent is like being on an episode of "let's make a deal".. everything is up for negotiation :-)

you favorite thing to say is "i do it." god forbid we do anything for you.. you are mr. independent.

sometimes i look across the booth at restaurants and you look like this..

and i don't question your greatness :-)

you are all signed up to start preschool in at the end of june. we went to your open house and you seemed to love it. you will just be going twice a week.. but i am still a very nervous mommy.

the garden (which is so cool.. the kids will garden, planting their own flowers/ vegetables. there are also goats, chickens, horses.. so so cute!)

you have been talking about school since.. i hope you stay this excited :-)

you ate an orange. pigs may actually be flying outside.

and finally.. one last thing. this is one of the most precious moments of your dad and i's lives. you felt your baby sister kick for the first time. you looked up at us and smiled the biggest smiled and then just laid with her on my tummy. you love her and she loves you.
