vancouver and rob's birthday..

we decided to head to vancouver for rob's birthday!

it was so much fun and a great break from reality. robert had so much fun with his ana, ba, and great grandmommy. the weather was unreal.. not one drop of rain the whole trip! that was a vancouver first for us!

here are some pictures and a recap from our week there..

on the first day, we brought robert to one of my favorite places in the world.. the bunny park! it is this wonderful community park that just happens to be the home of hundreds of very cute bunnies. robert loved them and even caught one to pet it! the poor bunnies may not have felt the same way about him.. ha ha

my next favorite thing to do in vancouver is head to stanley park. it is just so pretty and has so much to do. we stopped and took in the scenes and had a great lunch. robert had so much fun running around the restaurant afterwards. we also went to the "beach" and a kids play park.

one of robert's favorite things to do was play golf with his ba.. it was so cute! ba would hit the pinecone  (the "ball") and robert would run to get it. i think ba found himself a future caddy!

robert got to go visit his great-grandma a couple times while we were there. it is always so special to see the three of them together..

while we were there, we got to celebrate rob's birthday! we made his favorite dinner and cake. i will do another post on robert's gift to his daddy. we loved celebrating rob! he is so easy to celebrate.. we love yo so much, rob!

we headed to the dyke one day with robert to watch the plains take off and land at the airport. robert loves planes and "copters", so he had a blast!

we spent a lot of our time like we always do.. outside! vancouver is full of great parks so we checked a few of them out!

as always, we had such a great visit in vancouver! we love you so much ana, ba, and mam (great grandma)! can't wait to see you all again!
