a week ago, we celebrated our sweet 2 year old pirate style!!
robert loves jake and the neverland pirates, so we thought it would be so fun to go with that theme..
here are the invites! i ordered them off etsy and love how they turned out.
we stayed pretty basic for the decorations this year. we hosted it at a park.. so it was really easy to put together and everyone had fun!
we got pizza for lunch and cupcakes and cookies for dessert this year. i ordered the cupcake toppers off etsy as well. they were so cute!
the party favor bags were so fun! i got the kids hooks, eye patches, pirate hats, bubbles, swedish fish and chocolate gold coins :-) i ordered the bags off diapers.com. love them!
the balloons were a huge hit! i was running late, so my sweet friend, christy grabbed some on the way.. i swear they were the biggest hit of the party!
the kids were so cute.. it is so much fun to watch them grow. last year, none of them were really walking, so they just all kind of sat and played. this year was a whole new ball game! they were off and running.. loved the swings and slides! i, of course, didn't get pictures of all my sweet friends and their kids! we had about 8 kids there.. it was so fun!
these sweet girls and i have been together from the start of motherhood! we all did prenatal yoga together and our kids are within 2 weeks of eachother. jacquie and nicole are the best!!
when it came to singing happy birthday.. robert just sort of looked at us like we were crazy. it didn't help that i totally forgot matches so we couldn't light a candle :-( robert loved the cookies though!
robert was having way too much fun to pose for pictures! so this is as close as we got :-)
thank you so much to everyone who came to celebrate with us! we love you guys so much and look forward to many birthday parties to come!
