20 months..

happy 20 months, robert charles!! i can't believe you are in the 20s.. such a big boy these days!

this past month, like most others, has flown by! we have been busy with our new session at music class, our new gymnastics class at tricks (bye bye germy little gym) and a little trip to the bay to see friends.

here are some fun facts about you sweet guy!

you weigh about 25.5 lbs. you seem to be getting taller by the minute but i haven't been successful at getting your height. i am thinking about 34 inches. 

you wear size 4 diapers still and all 18-24 month old clothes. the weather has been nice so we have busted out your shorts and bathing suit some. SO CUTE.

you wear size 7 (!!) shoes and are sporting some very cute pumas that light up and some nikes these days. you love your shoes.

you love helping us work out... and by help, i mean jump in top of us :-)

you are becoming our little blondie.

you have tan lines from being outside all the time (despite lots of sunscreen!).. a sock line could only look cute on you.

you love love love cars.

you are eating like a bird, but are happy. thank goodness for fruit smoothies and chick fil a niggets. for real. 

you are off your reflux meds. please, let's all collectively cross our fingers that this has nothing to do with the previous statement. 

you dance dance dance. 

you are liking your new gym class. you have a deep fear of the trampoline. you are obsessed with the foam pit and parachute though.

you are singing in your music class. talk about your proud mom moments. the teacher will start a note and you, sweet boy, will complete it all on your own. you are also clapping and patting your hands right to the beat. we are so proud of you!

you are still the biggest jake fan on the planet.. although mickey is slowly making his way in the house. that 'hot dog' song gets you moving everytime.

you love your choo choo's.

you are still not saying much. lots of uh-oh (it is so hysterical to hear this at 3am.. hahah) but lots of sounds.. but no real new words.

you are so affectionate. another amazing, proud mom moment. you will hug other kids. it just melts my heart.

you are on an early morning kick. hello singing baby at 7am! you wake up so happy though, we really can't complain!

you continue to love being outside.

you still love your books, but like to dance around while you listen to them.

you love your blankie.

you throw lots of tantrums. hello 2!

we love you so much, sweet robert. we love watching you grow and see that sweet personality come through. you are such a big boy these days. your daddy and i say all the time how we just feel so lucky you are ours.

we have a fun month coming up! my baby baby sister is graduating from high school and my brother and his wife, carolyn, are having a little boy! lots of blessings. more to come.
