19 months...

alternatively titled.. robert goes to the park every day :-)

we have had such a fun and busy month!! i cannot believe you are officially closer to being 2 than 1, robert charles! time is flying faster than ever these days.

this month, you wrapped up your music class (new session starting in the spring), moved up a class at little gym, and made lots of new friends. we have had wonderful weather, so we literally spend most of our days outside. we go the trail for walks, visit various parks, or just take walks around the neighborhood.

let's see all the fun things you have been up to!

stats: not much has changed since the official 18 month stats, so we will just use those! i will say that you seem to have grown an inch in the last week though! grow baby grow! we are in all 18-24 month clothes and size 4 diapers still.

you finally got those molars! all four 1 year molars are in! you have also started to get both upper eye teeth. ouch! 

you are trying a lot more new foods- oranges, mangos, raisins. yay buddy! you are loving pizza and cheese these days as well.

you are mimicking all kinds of sounds and using your hands more and more to gesture

you are really into cars.. you get so excited when one races past and love to hang out in the garage to walk around ours. you say "ooooom" when they drive by!

you love to play ball- kick and throw it. our little soccer player..

you can dance. now, you have danced in the past.. but this is like a full body movement that you just can't seem to stop. it's hilarious. you have "your jam" as well call it- "talk like a pirate" and will just rock out. i am trying hard to capture this on video, but you stop the second i whip out the camera!

you come and get me now when you need your diaper changed. normally, i would think "oh maybe he will potty train early.." but knowing you, sweet guy, you'll take your sweet time.

speaking of taking your sweet time, still not a whole lot of talking. i can't wait to hear that sweet voice talking to me. it'll happen soon! i can feel it!

you love to brush your teeth and help me (try and lick) put on your lotion.

you are the park master. you run around there like you own the place. we love it! one time, i caught you directing slide traffic.. patting each person on the back as they went down and pointing to who should go next. our little leader :-)

you continue to be obsessed with jake on disney channel.. i have already started planning the 2 year old pirate themed party :-) we joke that your first words will be "blast!" and "ahoy!"

happy 19 months, sweet love! you are so very loved. you make your daddy and me so so so happy.
