13 months..

robert charles, you are 13 months old!

this has been a huge month for you as far as changes and new tricks!!

stats..

you are in 12-18 month clothing, although you still fit in some 6-12 month

you are still in size 3 diapers 

you are still our tall and lean boy :-)

eating..

we still have to get pretty creative with feeding you.. but you have tried so many new foods this month.. and kept them in your mouth ;-) you have tried strawberries, watermelon, cheese ravioli, rice, beef, chicken, cheese crackers, pita bread.. and whole milk! since you don't take a lot of solids we are not going cold turkey on the formula yet. you do one whole milk feed a day and 2 formula feeds. you do so well with the sippy cup.. as long as it doesn't have milk in it. ha. so we just keep trying and as you pick up your solids, we will probably just take the bottle away and give you no choice!

we are so proud of the big strides you've made.. i got teary eyed when i saw this face full of food!

sleeping..

don't tell anyone, but he slept 12 hours last night :-) you are still taking two naps a day, but i have a feeling you will go down to just one very soon!

newness and cuteness..

(i don't know what else to call it!)

you have four teeth up top and two on the bottom

you do "touchdown" with both hands in the air

you point to your nose and mommy and daddy's nose

you dance when you hear music

you say "woof woof" when you see a dog

you wave hi and bye to everyone

you play hide and seek about 80% of the day

you like to wake up and immediately throw everything out of your crib

you point to everything and let us know where you want to go

you point to trees 

and...

you took your first 3 steps on the 19th :-) none since but they are coming!

you have the ability to switch it on and off like no one we have ever seen.. you will see a huge smile in this picture, but also a tear.. so upset one minute, so happy the next!

watching the "woof woof" outside.. ok, they were turkeys, but you are so cute, we let it slide :-)

you can unroll and entire roll of toilet paper in 2 seconds flat..

this has been such a fun month, sweet boy! you are like a sponge right now just picking up everything you can! it is so fun and amazing to watch. your daddy and i say, at least once a week, how we can't believe you are ours! we feel like the luckiest people in the world. love you, robert charles!
